Hi Friends, I am a mom of three children. I love reading to them, reading with them and watching them read. Raising a reader is one of the best gifts you can give a child.
I started Recommended Reading with a mission to give parents helpful reading recommendations. Reading is such a powerful tool for growth and connection. I hope you find these reading resources helpful. I am not a certified teacher, just a mom that cares about helping other parents and caregivers connect children to the power of reading.
I am using the blog to promote amazon links. The library is and always will be my first choice for reading material. But you know some books are just too good to only read once. Some books need to live in your heart and on your shelf. Most of the blog posts will have links but a few will not. I hope you will follow me on the blog to get a new reading list with every post.
